CHAPTER I: HEARTH | TAAW (ताव)
"Fire is the first thing we gathered around, before we had walls to call a home."
Hearth is where the day slows down. This chapter brings together Longpi Black Pottery and Khurja Pottery, clay shaped by hand and hardened by fire, carrying the same warmth it was born from. Made for the everyday rituals worth pausing for.
VIEW CHAPTERA LIFETIME OF SKILL, CONDENSED INTO FORM.
Its worth is in the years of effort and patience it took to master the skill, and the generations who kept it alive.
MATERIAL BORN OF GEOGRAPHY. CRAFT ROOTED IN PURPOSE.
Every craft is chosen for its rarity, technique, material, history and the community that carries it.
LONGPI BLACK POTTERY

KHURJA POTTERY
In Khurja, India's ceramics town, families of potters have worked the wheel for generations, painting every piece freehand in deep cobalt blue.
ExploreEach piece, a rare gift with a story to share. Each artisan, paid fairly for their mastery.
Our Story
Knowledge that survived thousands of years, passed quietly from one pair of hands to the next, is disappearing now, because there is no bridge between the maker and the world that values it. When artisans can't reach that world, they lose their livelihood, and we, as humanity, permanently lose one of our deepest cultural stories.
Hoonar is that bridge.
